I love love LOVE Valentine's Day! 


Those cute little cards.....eating candy all day....hearts, hearts, and more hearts!


Working in a school, I am surrounded by the innocence of young love. Today while in a Language Arts class I was helping with a spelling lesson, when a special ed teacher asked me to come into the hallway....when I stepped out a little boy came around the corner with a homemade valentine in his hands for one of my students.....when he gave it to her she was so sweet! She thanked him and then gave him a big hug....I guess that is love for a fourth grader.....


For me, I wasn't just celebrating Valentine's Day today, but my hubby and I were also celebrating six wonderful months of marriage.....I can't believe how fast time is going! I feel like it was just yesterday that we were saying our vows....

Since we had to work....to celebrate I made dinner.....

spinach salad

glazed salmon

roasted potatoes

asparagus 

and for desert.....

cherry pie from Wegmans....my husband's favorite.....


Because I made dinner tonight, he is treating me to a dinner out on Saturday.....can't wait to see where he decided to take me!
