Finally....

I have been working on reading She's Come Undone, by Wally Lamb for quite sometime now. It has taken me so long to get through it, not because I found it boring or a hard read, but because I found no time and little motivation to sit and read a novel.

A few weeks ago, I had enough of my laziness and decided it was time to get reading. This book was amazing, I couldn't be happier with my choice to read this story. I fell in love instantly with Dolores Price, the main character. I found myself waking up in the middle of the night thinking about her, and what I thought was going to happen next in her life. She became a friend as I read. And like friends, I didn't always agree with her choices, she made me angry, I felt such sorrow for her, and such happiness throughout her entire story.

Being into psychology, this book was the perfect read for me. It touched so many difficult topics and seeing how they affected Dolores, made me think. Think a lot about my life, and how blessed I truly am. This book was hard to read at times because it was so depressing, and made me feel down while I was reading.

While the ending didn't satisfy me, and I wish Lamb gave us more, I feel content where the story ended, and will create my own ending for Dolores.

This book comes highly, HIGHLY recommended!

Now......on to The Hunger Games! I ordered the trilogy and within seconds they were delivered to my Kindle. I can't wait to dive into these books.
I have heard such great things about them, so I hope everyone is right, and I will fall in love with these stories and characters also!

Love, love, love,
