Mockingjay

Before the holidays I finished the third, and final book, in the Hunger Games series, Mockingjay.

I haven't been able to bring myself to posting about it because I just don't want the trilogy to be over!

The third book, along with the first two, was pretty good. There was action, love and friendship. Katniss Everdeen was still fighting with the capitol trying to figure out who she was in love with, Gale or Peeta.

My biggest complaint with this book is that the story felt rushed. I wish the author would have maybe created a fourth book to tie everything together.

I finished with lots of tears, but all of my questions were answered.

In the end, I really enjoyed the three books. Were they the best books I've ever read? No. But did they entertain me? Yes. And although I did have a hard time relating to the characters, I did fall in love with them.

I started reading Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. So far this book is okay, kind of weird actually. I have been having a hard time getting into it I think because I am still fixated on The Hunger Games.

I am going to keep trucking along with my new book anxiously awaiting the Hunger games movie!

Love love love,
