Saturday we went to Norristown around 1:00 and hubby hung out with the boys while I went outlet shopping with the girls. It was a fantastic day that ended with us gals stumbling across the best place ever, Kiwi Yogurt, and not getting home until midnight.
mmmm.....so good! MUST go back!
Sunday was spent going to the gym and doing some major spring cleaning! Hubby and I both went through our closet and got rid of things that we no longer will wear. (I had to make some room for my outlet purchases!) And we ended up filling THREE bags with stuff for the Salvation Army.
humm, wonder how long these will sit in my living room now?
Sunday we also had dinner with some wonderful friends that we don't get to see nearly enough. Jonathan and Jessica. Jonathan aka Weber, was one of Ian's best friends from high school and when I met him I knew why Ian loved him so much. He is engaged to the perfect girl, Jess, and they are getting married this October and I can't wait for their wedding! It was the perfect way to end the weekend.
Mondays are always a tough day for me because not only is it the first day back to work, but I also stay late to tutor. And yesterday right after tutoring, hubby and I had an appointment with our realtor to check out four houses.
Our walk through of the houses went pretty good actually. Three out of the 4 I guess you could say are possibilities, but we are pretty sure that we just haven't seen our house yet. I'm not sure if it is me, but I can't imagine forking out a few hundred thousand dollars for a home that I am not majorly into. All of these homes had their problems, fixable yes, but also would cost us more in minor details.....so we will just keep looking for now.
AND, speaking of Little Bee....yesterday at work (we are back to the PSSAs again) I finished Little Bee. It was just alright in my mind. I just kept waiting for something much bigger to happen and for a much bigger secret to come out. I had a hard time connecting to any of the characters also, it just all felt very unrealistic to me I guess....
Now onto another Jennifer Weiner book....Little Earthquakes.
I'll keep you posted on it......
