Hoppy Easter!

I am so happy on waking up this morning that the sun is shinning! This rain has majorly been bringing me down, and with it being Easter, seeing the sun up this morning is wonderful! The Easter Bunny didn't visit our apartment last night and I'm kind of disappointed that we didn't do baskets for each other. I didn't want to have to force the Mr. into doing that for me and then having to give him ideas of what to put in the basket. Maybe next year.....


I am quietly typing this post in bed because my hubby is still sleeping next to me. He had a slumber party last night with his BFF, and he is sleeping on our sofa in the living room. (This is just another reason why I can't wait to move out of a one bedroom apartment!)


Last night the hubby and I grabbed dinner and drinks with his BFF. We had dinner at Loopers in Bethlehem and it was delicious! Friends of ours having been raving about it, and the hubby has eaten there before, so I was dieing to see what all of the fuss was about. It didn't disappoint.


At Loopers they have a very extensive martini menu. I decided to indulge on a lemon drop martini. 

It was quite yummy!

And, I was feeling its effects after just one!  

After dinner we went to Starters a "sports bar" in Bethlehem. There we met my brother, Fred and Court and chatted and caught up. It is one of my favorite things when we randomly get to see our friends. We weren't out too late because the old lady driver (me) wanted to get home. Starters turned into a club and all of the creeps of Bethlehem were out in full force last night. I just don't like going out to places like that anymore. In college I was able to handle it and even enjoy myself. But now I can only take so much. First off, I am always the driver. I'm not sure why I would want to sit around at a loud club and watch my hubby and his friends drink. I can do that at home in my sweats and enjoy a glass of wine myself! Living in Bethlehem someone ALWAYS has to drive making me the obvious choice every weekend. The boys left last night at 11:30 without giving me too much grief and came back here to hang out. 


Now.....they are still sleeping and I am going to tip toe and make myself some coffee.
