Well....it doesn't look good....

After completing a home inspection on the house we sent back another offer for the buyer. 


All of the big ticket items in the house are old. Very old, at the end of their lives.


The furnace.
The water heater.
The roof.
The are conditioner. AND not only is the AC old, the outside unit is completely rusted. 


Because of these findings we decided to ask for more sellers assist. This was Friday. We have yet to get any "good" news. 


Our realtor contacted the buyer's realtor today to see what the hold up is. He went off about one thing or another and laughed when she mentioned the sellers assist that we were asking for, commenting "that's not going to happen." 


Our realtor was here about two hours ago and we signed the release to get out of the contract. 


She advised us that this is the best move. That if she doesn't fix these issues now, or if we don't get some money so we can fix them, then this house isn't worth it. That we will end up being out more then we want or NEED to be.


The buyer still has until tomorrow. I haven't given up complete hope yet. I just want to hear the definite NO, then I will be able to really dive in and look again.


So for now, the hubby and I are sitting by the phone waiting for an answer, any answer!
