Field Trip

It is days like today that make me love my job. Today I was invited along with the sixth grade class to go on their field trip to Medieval Times in New Jersey. We had to be at school by 8 and once everyone was accounted for, we boarded the buses. Since the drive was about two hours we got to ride in luxury in a charter bus. 


Once we arrive the kids were let loose and were able to purchase a variety of junk from souvenirs stands. And finally the king came out and announced that it was time to take our seats that the show was about to begin. 


The kids crowded into the arena and my favorite teacher and I, Miss W. got a front row seat to all of the action!

Can you tell how excited we are for the show to begin??

Lunch was served once we were seated. Unfortunately we had to eat our meal only with our hands! I prepared by washing them and using lots and lots of hand sanitizer!!

Main dish: potato and chicken, which were actually kind of good. 

While we ate the show was on! And it was sure action packed!

Today was a good day! The kids all enjoyed themselves and were very well behaved! It was nice to have a little treat for all of the hard work that we do all year! And, I can't wait for the day that I have my own kids and the hubby and I can take them back so they can enjoy this great land of make believe.
