Weekend Recap

This weekend was all sorts of busy! It started out with our second home inspection at 9am on Friday. We met with the same inspector and all things were pretty normal....well until we set the fire alarms in the house off. Oops! We should have more info about the house later this week. But it all feel totally different this time. It feels more peaceful. Hopefully all will work out. If not, hubby and I have decided that we will just continue to rent our apartment and try again next year. 

After our inspection, we headed down to Norristown to have dinner and drinks with some friends. We went to a cute pub for dinner and went to a local watering hole for drinks later. AND much to our surprise and excitement, it was karaoke night at the bar! There is where I gave the performance of a lifetime. The hubby recorded a bit on his phone....I had to share a taste. 

We spent the night on Friday, so Saturday was such a waist of a day. I hate when I am not productive! When we got home the hubby and I fell asleep and didn't wake up until after one in the afternoon! I never do this, and it totally threw me off for the rest of the weekend! On Saturday we also had a dinner date with friends we haven't seen in awhile. Luckily the rain held off so we could grill up some burgers. We called it an early night because I had to be up early on Sunday for one of my best friend's bridal shower.


It was at Northampton Country Club which is absolutely beautiful! It was a brunch and the food was delish! She got lots of goodies off of her registry and was so grateful for it all. I got my workout that morning because my bridesmaid duty was to help her open her gifts quickly and efficiently. I think I did a pretty awesome job!

I feel like I need a weekend to relax after this weekend! Mondays are tough normally, but this Monday was EXHAUSTING, and this yucky weather definitely doesn't help! Hope this week goes fast!
