Who didn't love the first Hangover? Three clueless friends taking over Las Vegas in search of their missing friend, the groom? It was hysterical, and might be why I get nervous when the hubby leaves for a bachelor party...humm....
The second film, while funny, just didn't feel the same. The boys were back, and this time they took over Bangkok and were searching for Stew's sixteen year old brother-in-law. I personally did not like how it was set in Bangkok, I would have preferred something in the states, New York City perhaps? And some of the humour was just disgusting! There were many MANY male private parts shown in the movie (not Bradly Cooper's sadly)!
The characters were still charming and Allen was just as wacky and lovable as the first.
And poor Stew, the tattoo on his face wasn't the worst thing he did the night before his wedding! Yuck!
The hubby and I both heard that in the last half hour of the movie there was a set up for a Hangover 3, but we have no idea were it was or how they would do a third. I mean anything is possible, but they are all married now. Well, all but Allen, but I can't really see him moving out of his parent's house and getting hitched in the next movie. Guess we will have to wait and see......
Not sure if I would recommend paying $10 per ticket to see this movie in theaters, but is a perfect flick for a movie and pizza night at home!
good to know!! thanks for the review:)
